Note for Windows users: QuickTime 7 or later and Java 6 or later are required to run ArchiCAD.
ArchiCAD installer will automatically install Java 6 and QuickTime 7 if they are not present on your computer.
CPU*: (Minimum)
Intel® Pentium 4 2GHz, or compatible processors with equal or higher performance
Macintosh® with   2.4Ghz Intel® processor
CPU*: (Recommended) Intel Core 2 Duo min 2.6Ghz OR AMD Athlon 64 2.6Ghz

For laptops:
Intel Core 2 Duo min 2.2Ghz
AMD Turion 64 min. 2.2Ghz

 
RAM:
 1 GB of RAM is required
2 GB or more is recommended for complex models**
Hard Drive Space:

Minimum of 1 GB free hard disk space is required for a full installation.
Additional 2 GB is required for work with complex projects and 3D visualization.

Note: UNIX formatted HDs are not supported
Display:

Recommended resolution: 1280x1024 or higher
Video Card:
Open GL and DirectX compatible graphic card with on board video memory of 128 MB or more is recommended.

Optional Hardware Peripheral Devices:
All major plotters, printers and digitizers can be used with ArchiCAD.
