In 1999 Graphisoft released their first API Kit for ArchiCAD 6. This allowed 3rd Parties to produce ArchiCAD ad-dons that worked directly with the ArchiCAD database and took development possibilities further then the GDL objects that had been available to date.
Cadimage started developing Ad-dons almost immediately following the API release and with ArchiCAD 7 released the first series of New Zealand Tools. Over the years the New Zealand Tools have been enhanced and extended and additional tools have been developed.
