An exhibition at the Gallery of Australian Design in Canberra showcasing the work of young Argentina-born, Australia-based designer Alexander Lotersztain. This is the first retrospective of the work of Lotersztain, who was named one of the top 100 emerging designers worldwide in the 2007 Phaidon Press book, &Fork.

The award-winning director of Derlot has worked across architecture, landscape architecture and industrial design with work including the Limes Hotel in Brisbane, Twig outdoor seating and Haus pods installed at State of Design 2010. He is also the creative director of the In Africa Foundation – which represents craftspeople in Africa and ensures there is a continuing market for their trade.

The exhibition focuses on one-offs and limited edition pieces that have contributed to Lotersztain’s reputation as an influential design leader across Australia.
