• Announcing ArchiCAD 12 
  

  Graphisoft announced today that ArchiCAD® 12, the next version of its award-winning Virtual Building™ modeling solution, will be shipped on both Windows® and Macintosh® platforms in July. ArchiCAD’s annual release cycle continues to focus on providing enhancements to help users win more business, design more creatively and be more productive.

  "Beyond delivering powerful new 3D design tools, we are also introducing an innovative 3D documentation capability, which has the potential to revolutionize communication in the building industry", said Miklos Szövenyi-Lux, Director of Product Management, Graphisoft. "And on multi-core computers, operations such as view generation of sections and elevations from the Virtual Building Model experience a dramatic performance increase."

• BIM Experience Kit a 2008 Stevie Award Finalist in 'Training' Category
  Boston, MA - May 21, 2008 – Graphisoft's ArchiCAD BIM Experience Kit is a finalist in the 6th annual "American Business Awards" competition, known as the business world's own Oscars.
  The ArchiCAD BIM Experience Kit <experiencebim.com> is a Stevie finalist in the Interactive Multimedia Training Category for its unique approach in helping architectural users of 2D CAD become familiar with working in 3D building information modeling (BIM). The free kit combines a full-functioning version of ArchiCAD with an innovative multimedia training tutorial that guides users through the modeling of an actual Frank Lloyd Wright-designed project: the Massaro House in upstate New York. The kit also includes testing to help support the learning process.
