Case Study Overview

Morris Bray’s involvement with the redevelopment of the Sydney Adventist Hospital started with the design of just one component. Using ArchiCAD’s Virtual Building Explorer tool, the firm’s design team ‘walked’ the hospital’s board members, doctors and nurses through every element of their designs and models. This helped earn Morris Bray the client’s trust and led to the firm being awarded the entire multi-stage $300 million project. “They got it! They could see and experience every corridor, or explore an operating theatre,” says Cameron. “With large budgets at stake, clear communication through 3D visualisation effectively enabled the hospital’s board to become part of the design team. This really strengthened our working relationship.”
